Cold-processed soaps are made through a traditional process where natural oils and butters are mixed with lye in a cool environment, without using heat. The ingredients then go through a saponification process which turns them into a soap.
First, the oils, butters and essential oils are mixed and that mixture is poured into moulds. Once it hardens it is cut into desired shapes. Then, the soap is left to cure for a few weeks, allowing the excess water to evaporate which makes it harder, longer-lasting, and super gentle on your skin.
Because there’s no heat, all the good stuff, like the nourishing properties of the oils, stays intact. It's a slower, hands-on process, but it results in a luxurious, natural bar of soap that feels amazing on the skin as it skips all the harsh chemicals.
Unlike mass-produced soaps, cold-processed soaps can be made in small batches, which allows exceptional attention to detail and the flexibility to experiment with unique blends and textures, offering endless possibilities for customization.
From nourishing oils and botanicals to essential oils, every ingredient is carefully chosen to create a gentle and effective formula, resulting in soaps that are perfectly tailored to individual needs.
